Morgan Rush Named Governor’s Distinguished Scholar

Morgan Rush has been named a Governor’s Distinguished Scholar by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education. Rush, the 2010 salutatorian, was one of 300 Arkansas graduates who earned the prestigious scholarship. He will attend the University of Arkansas in the fall where he will major in engineering.
In order to qualify, a student must at least have a 3.5 grade-point average and a minimum of 32 ACT composite score or 1410 combined score on the critical reasoning and math sections of the SAT. The scholarship pays up to $10,000 per year for full tuition, mandatory fees and room and board.
